Mount Vinson, Antarctica – 4,892 metres
January 2010
Nabil participated in the “Renaissance Services Antarctic Expedition” and became the first Omani to reach the peak of Mount Vinson. This mountain is the tallest in Antarctica and one of the renowned “Seven Summits,” standing 4,892 meters above sea level and located approximately 1,200 km from the South Pole.
The expedition tested Nabil with harsh conditions, including strong winds, freezing temperatures, and high altitude. Despite these challenges, he successfully reached the top and proudly planted the Omani flag, becoming the second Arab to accomplish this achievement.
